The animal had a non-ulcerated nodule of firm consistency in the abdominal region. After physical examination and radiographic evaluation was chosen by the surgical removal of this nodule. Inhalation anesthesia was performed for regional mastectomy and was established antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medication postoperatively. The tumor removed was stored in 10% formalin solution for histopathology which revealed fibrosarcoma with low malignancy. The animal has recovered satisfactorily from surgery. Recurrence occurred after six months of surgery with growth of three nodules. However, in a second attempt to remove the nodules, the animal died.
