E-mail: pauloleal@ctiveterinario.com.br In routine clinical diagnosis is based, with attention to developments and laboratory findings which intercurrent infections have been observed frequently. We report two cases of clinical laboratory diagnosis in Cystoisospora ohioensis infection associated with canine distemper virus in dogs. Thereby proving the value of visualization of viral inclusions(Lentz corpuscles) in red blood cells and antibodies in the diagnosis of canine distemper, need to find oocysts in stool, measurement of the oocysts, and sporozoites in their respective cistoisosporose by C. ohioensis.
