According to the results, from de total of examined animals, eight were asinine, 991equines and 627 mules. The annual prevalence of EIA in the refereed region during the years from 2007 to 2010 was 36.36; 13.33; 9.70 and7.06%, respectively. The obtained result showed higherprevalence when compared to others Regions in Brazil, demonstrating the necessity to maintaining public policy of Animal Sanity to keep the prevalence in acceptable levels.
