E-mail: camillabiotec@hotmail.com The microbiological analysis of fecal material can be determined from direct and indirect collection and subsequent testing classical biochemical identification of bacterial being his perfect characterization directly related to how to collect, taking into account the physiological characteristics of bacterial species to be investigated. The aim of this study was to compare the sensitivity of two protocols for the collection of fecal samples for characterization of Enterobacteriaceae isolates in two structures of the enteric tract of a genetically engineered animal model for studies of oral tolerance. As to results obtained by the protocols drawn here, they do not show significant differences in the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the isolates.
