Was requested to draw up a legal Veterinarian Report relating to the death of a horse, the animal’s guardian said the horse had been victim of electrocution on the streets in the municipal district of Camaragibe, Pernambuco, Brazil. On site, we noticed the presence of amphibians killed on contact with an electrical wire that was cut on the end and it was connect to the power poles. The horse found itself on that wire in the right lateral position. At necropsy showed up, congestion and the presence of petechial hemorrhages in the lungs and bruising in the left lung lobe apical segment, as well as pulmonary edema, heart soft with the presence of bruises and suffusion in the myocardium, suggesting the sudden death by electrocution.
