Two young dogs have entered a veterinary clinic with clinical signs of cinomose. Fez the diagnosis and started the treatment with ribavirin and unconventional IFN-a, and medication support. At the end of treatment, a dog was euthanized due to clinical worsening and other animal evolved well to chemoimmunotherapy. However, through the use of PCR Real time the urine sample was possible to confirm that the antiviral is not capable of generating curing sterilant. This report documents an unusual presentation for the treatment of CDV, since few studies have in vitro context only.
